So, there's a storm heading this way and depending on what path it takes we could end up with 6 - 12 inches of snow in Massachusetts on Friday.  Is someone pulling my chain or what????

I told you to start saying your prayers at night, but nooooo.  You had to get all huffy and say things like  "What's God going do if I don't say my prayers?"

Actually, Katie is complaining about the weather too.  The nearly 70 degree temperatures last week were quite the tease.

I remember that.  They called it "The April Fool's Day Storm."  I wonder where they got that name?

We've got a slushy accumulation of less than an inch predicted for tomorrow.  It was up to 65 a couple weeks ago, but winter just won't release its tenacious grasp.

Yeah, my in-laws were asking how the weather is here in sunny Phoenix, AZ since they're coming to visit in 3 weeks. They're in Michigan. They are retiring in a year and were considering moving to AZ. I think this winter may have clinched it.

Here's a good story about 70 degree temps...back when I was 17 in 1981, (to the best of my memory and that of family) the last two weeks of April saw a massive storm that weighed in at a little over 2 feet of snow.

So, what happens at the end of the last week of April?  Yeah you guessed it..a string of 70 degree days that went into the first half of May.

Our backyard was a virtual ocean...the drainage ditch pipe was roaring day and night with the water coming out of it. The driveway was nothing but mud. That was fun for awhile..

We're supposed to get a nasty storm tomorrow. Not looking forward to it...
