It will be nice to see Zod.  I was just reading the article on Yahoo talking about it.

Shannon is a great actor who shines in oddball roles.  Seems like a good fit to me.

Well aren't you a big pessimist?  Let's see some more information, some trailers or teasers, or some images of the film before we cried OMG IT'S RUINED!

Personally, I would like to see a movie with Brainic, but what can you do?  I'll give it a shot.

I would rather have seen Brainiac or Darkseid, but Zod's still better than Luthor again.

It's possible that might be part of the plot.  Then again, maybe the movie starts with Superman rounding up all the Kryptonite on earth and tossing it into the sun.  We dunno.

I wish Doomsday was in it. I want to see Doomsday kill Superman in a movie. I'm serious...

Doomsday would definitely make that movie something to talk about, let alone WANT to see.

Spare no expense on the budget! Make a non stop action, large-scale disaster blockbuster!

I think Doomsday would have to come later in a franchise, since we need to establish a world that already knows and accepts Superman so the impact of his fight and his death will be stronger.

Also, if you haven't, try watching Superman: Doomsday.  It's about an hour and 15 minutes, but so worth a watch.
