Wow, I think I've seen 15 out of those 20.  Really should pick up 2010 on Blu ray one of these days.

AMADEUS was great, GHOSTBUSTERS was very good.  A few of the other movies were good but I can't say that it was a really great year.  Some real losers there: BEVERLY HILLS COP, POLICE ACADEMY, FOOTLOOSE, GREYSTOKE, BREAKIN'....

Here's some (IMO) more interesting movies from 1984: NIGHT OF THE COMET, BLOOD SIMPLE, THE COMPANY OF WOLVES, REPO MAN, THIS IS SPINAL TAP.

03. $179,870,271 - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (pretty good but also a little disappointing as a sequel)
04. $148,168,459 - Gremlins (Really enjoyed it)
05. $090,815,558 - The Karate Kid (loved this as a kid)
06. $081,198,894 - Police Academy (one of the comedies I recall really loving in my teen years...)
07. $080,035,402 - Footloose (recall loving it at the time it came out believe it or not)
