Follwing Claws's box office flashbacks, I figured we could start a thread on Billboard flashbacks for any given set of time based on the date.  For example, today 25 years ago in 11986 this was your top 10:

I find it humerous two songs were about "touching", not to mention back to back.  I can't stand that song "Here We Go".  Its "Everybody Dance Now" remixed slightly.  I dig about two or three songs on there.  The two "touching" songs of course.

I remember hearing West End Girls and realizing that the whole New Wave thing from the early '80s had pretty much come to an end.  That was kind of sad.  Van Halen went from a hard rock band to a pop/rock band lol.  Manic Monday by The Bangles was a great song, and a great video too.  And then there was Whitney Houston on max rotation at every radio station until every guy in America hated that song.

It's sad how the later you go, the less interesting the records become.  (Such as DarkSider illustrated.)
