Don't let the Troma logo scare you off. Beyond Evil (1980) is not a Troma-produced movie.
Herb Freed's thrilling horror fantasy is about a married couple (John Saxon & Lynda Day George) on business in the Caribbean. They reside in an old mansion haunted by evil spirits possessing Lynda Day George.
Not your average turd. The badness is hilarious and extremely entertaining which should explain why it was part of the lineup at Quentin Tarantino's Film Festival. And you know Quentin, he only picks the cool stuff.
Zapping lasers, glowing eyes - it's like The Exorcist meets Star Wars. Here's the trailer:

I've got the Vipco DVD of this and all the cannibalism is cut out  . kind of makes the title a bit ironic

DEVIL DOLL (1964)
Before CHILDS PLAY and MAGIC (but after DEAD OF NIGHT) there was this very creepy and perverse film.

Trying hard to think of one but the only thing I could mention is

White Commanche - 1968

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eXFwKBsDTA

William Shatner stars as Johnny Moon/Notah.  Starting the movie he is a cowboy that is riding for reasons as yet unknown till he meets himself as Notah his Commanche chief half brother.  Apparently, they have a family feud which I am for the life of me forgetting.  He (Johnny Moon) rides off after they agree to meet and settle in 3 days.  The townspeople are unsure and take him (Johnny Moon) for his brother (Notah) after a saloon girl is raped by Notah.  It is a confusing Shatner mess.  Take a look.  Nowhere else can you see William Shatner as a Native American and Cowboy.
Ah, the good old days.

This movie was terrible. It made me laugh.  :bouncegiggle:

Enthralling!  Oh thank God, there are several cheap-o DVD's available.

One of my favorites is Courier of Death (1984).  Watch the first 10 minutes here, and if you are as enamored as I was, the whole thing is on YouTube in pretty high quality:

While not a truely awful movie, Bad Taste is one of the best bad movies. It's only overlooked because it's so hard to find.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

The Cold (AKA The Game) (1984).  Stereotypical millionaire with a haunted house story.  But, confusing and with enjoyably obnoxious characters.

I really like how the very end of the film seems to completely contradict the entire plot.
