for meaning and deeper values in life, especially when suffering from the angst that ensues when
the dead walk among us.  It wouldn't surprise me to see it win some awards in the foreign cinema

I haven't seen it either, but it looks like a number of other weird-a$$ goresploitation movies from Japan, like Machine Girl and Samurai Princess.  Like Samurai Princess, this movie stars at least two AV girls, Sora Aoi and Risa Kasumi.  Not sure about the other ones.
