Im looking for some movies for me and my friends to watch. We love these movies, especially the older ones.
I've seen Black Dynamite, Dolemite, The Legend Of N****r Charley, and Boss N****r.
Any others I should look for?

Andrew

"Willie Dynamite" is a must:

"Penitentiary" is another must:

(there are 2 sequels as well)

Also, "Petey Wheatstraw, the Devil's Son-In-Law" is great:

"The Human Tornado" is the sequel to "Dolemite" and has its moments:

"Soul Vengeance" has a real freaky premise:

"Black Shampoo" is also a weird one:

Another Rudy Ray Moore film is "Avenging Disco Godfather."  The quality isn't near the first, nor the second:

Others I'd recommend:
Cleopatra Jones
Coffy
TNT Jackson
Slaughter
The Mack
Superfly
Shaft (and sequels, of course)

Man, there are a bunch to recommend, but I don't have the time to right now.  I'm sure some more will get suggested.

The above, and also "Black Dynamite", it's kind of a parody/homage to blacksploitation films, and it's hilarious.

I might add:

- The Two "Slaughter" films.

- Across 110th Street. This is a personal favourite. Not exactly 100% blaxploitation, because of the white people involved, but a terrific film.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

"Penitentiary 2" with Mr.T. It's just so bad it's good. The stereotypes are hilarious and the acting is simply horrible. I think the movie has a budget of about $15. Ernie Hudson and that little guy from "Bad Santa" are also in it (although the would probably never admit to it). And by the way, have you ever seen a prison boxing match televised on regular broadcast TV?
