The horror fanboys seemed to hate "FvJ" but I've never understood why, I thought it was a hoot...

and here is my newest entry.

I don't collect vinyl but every time I'm in my local Goodwill scrounging for CDs I always flip through the moldy old LPs too, just to see what kind of weird sh** will turn up. Here are a half dozen album covers that made me go WTF?

A few new entries over the past few weeks...

Dokken's 1999 album Erase The Slate is mostly forgotten today but at the time it was a return to form for them after a disastrous couple of years:

Arizona's Atrophy released two solid but underappreciated thrash metal albums at the tail end of the '80s

California's SADUS straddled the line between thrash and death metal and released some cool, seriously p*ssed off stuff:

Mercyful Fate are perfect Halloween season listening so I wrote this salute after a trip through their discography:

New entry:
I'm not a melodic death metal fan at all, but this Norwegian band was nice enough to send me their new album to check out, so I tried to do'em a solid.
If you dig In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Lamb Of God, etc, check'em out.

Two new "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" entries...

When I saw Frightmare, I thought it was the Pete Walker film.

I've heard of, but never seen, that "Frightmare"... but when I was image-searching for a poster of the '83 film to go with my review, pics for that one kept coming up, I had to be careful not to pick the wrong one. :D
