I was gonna do a run-down of all the movies that SyFy premiered during their 2015 "Sharknado Week" whoop de doo but all of them pretty much sucked except for the not-at-alll-shark-related "LAVALANTULA," so I decided to focus on that one instead.

Seriously, how could anyone possibly resist a movie in which earth's only hope against an invasion of fire-breathing giant spiders is ... the cast of "Police Academy?"

My son and I picked up the new "Scooby Doo and KISS" movie earlier this week, so of course I had to write a review of it. We give it two paws up. :D

This week in 1978, the four members of KISS each released solo albums simultaneously. Their management was obviously banking on a massive, four-times-bigger-than-usual sales coup but it ended up backfiring big time, and was the beginning of the end for the original lineup.

Nice review.

Boy, that brings back memories.  I wore the grooves out of Ace's and Paul's solo albums.  And yes, Ace's was by far the best.  Never even bought Peter's; I think I bought Gene's just to have it but barely listened to it.

I agree with Ulthar; nice review.  It has great detail.  I love people who talk music and history and know what they're talking about.  I have never been a fan of KISS, though there are a couple of albums I like; the solo albums are not counted among those.  I'm sure everyone would agree ACE FREHLEY's is the only one worth bothering with.
