I'm a bit late to the whole Youtube thing, but I'm getting started.

I posted a video today. It's an ode to Peter Dinklage. And I include some weird movies that he could remake.

If you can view it and you find it at least mildly amusing or informative, feel free to share it with anyone you think might have fun with it.

Yes, I'm pimping myself.

It's good and funny (and disturbing). I would go ahead and make the video public if I were you. You can disable comments if you're afraid of trolls. Did you know that in Peter Dinklage's first role he played a dwarf actor cast in a stereotypical dream sequence?
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Living In Oblivion. Great movie. The scene where Buscemi and Dinklage discuss Dinklage's role is awesome!

[Little person Tito is not happy with the dream sequence]

Tito: Why does my character have to be a dwarf?

Nick: He doesn't have to be.

Tito: Then why is he? Is that the only way you can make this a dream, to put a dwarf in it?

Nick: No, Tito, I...

Tito: Have you ever had a dream with a dwarf in it? Do you know anyone who's had a dream with a dwarf in it? No! I don't even have dreams with dwarves in them. The only place I've seen dwarves in dreams is in stupid movies like this! "Oh make it weird, put a dwarf in it!". Everyone will go "Woah, this must be a f**kin' dream, there's a f**kin' dwarf in it!". Well I'm sick of it! You can take this dream sequence and stick it up your ass!

Oh, god, I love that movie.

And thank you for the positive comments on the video. I'm holding off making it public until I can get about 5 videos uploaded. Nothing more sad than a channel premiere with one or two videos.

Plus, I'm waiting to see if I get any copyright strikes. Youtube policy is "you're guilty until proven innocent, but only if your accuser says you are -- and they won't".

My press credentials were approved for the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal.

This means that, if I'm lucky, I will get the chance to interview Takashi (AUDITION, ICHI THE KILLER) Miike face to face! (Through an interpreter, of course).

And don't forget, guys, that I have THREE novels available on Amazon right now, and that my Amazon Sales Rank SUCKS!!
So if you can spare the coin, buy or download them.  Heck, after you do that, READ THEM TOO!!!   :teddyr:

That's because the people who shop Amazon wouldn't recognize good writing, if it fell out of the sky and hit them in the head. Your books are on my list to read. It is just that I have a half dozen books ahead of them on my list of books I need to read. And here's to better sales.

indianasmith

I thank you for that and I do hope you enjoy them when you get the time to read them.
The problem with Amazon is that they list 100,000 new titles a month.  It's easy to get overlooked.

An animation I did.  Its possibly the first in a series.  I've got some ideas for others, but its about  rotoscoping animals, particularly reptiles.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Wow, that's cool!  I used to visit Cracked all the time.  Admittedly though, sometimes when I go there nowadays a web script for some of the ads gums up my browser, but still.  Articles are pretty cool!

Pretty good article!  Thought the Superman one was the craziest.  To be honest, the thing with DragonQuest and Japan didn't really surprise me a whole hell of a lot because, well, it's Japan.

Well, since we're promoted this..

This is my old Youtube video account, where you can see the five videos that are still uploaded.

https://www.youtube.com/user/mallan625

Most of them are just music videos I made by putting an mp3 and editing movie clips, but here's a very short I made for a Digital Arts class..

I used to goof around with Photoshop alot, doing pics and stuff for whatever idea would pop into my head, and restoring old photos.  If you have any old photos you'd like me to take a look at and try to fix/clean up, let me know!

Only catch is I may use them for my Upwork profile later.

Oh, yeah, I've got an Upwork profile.  Been trying to find some freelance work on there, but not much luck so far.  Course, I haven't put a lot of effort into it so far, cause I've been busy with other things and, part of me feels I need to step back and learn some more stuff before I try to jump into that pile (whether it be trying to do a job in Photoshop or Data Entry or Customer Service).  For starters, I'm working with a new version of Photoshop (Elements 14, as opposed to regular Photoshop 7.0), so, in some ways it's like learning stuff all over again..

Anyhoo.. getting off subject.  Check out my movies if you want!  Got another one I'm trying to start on (which, I need to figure out Adobe Premiere Elements for.)

I enjoy making karaoke versions of songs/tv themes (with the highlighted lyrics) that no one else has done (to my knowledge).  My latest is the theme to WACKY RACES.  I even put a clip of Muttley's laugh in it!  Sorry I can't post it; Photobucket is being a d*ck.
