I'm working right now on an independent film as a PA. A featured extra didn't show up, so they sent me to wardrobe and now I'm onscreen (assuming my footage is not cut, fingers crossed). About 15 seconds of screen time with no dialogue, but I do make a gesture. More info when the film is released (probably a year from now). I have no desire to be an actor, BTW, I'm on set to write an article about the experience.
