Too cool, Indy! Your books are really enjoyable and it's good to see opportunities come up to let people know about them. Congratulations.

Well, ethics aside, I have a new video up on Youtube. I'll see how long it stays up. Things are looking good so far.

I have a channel called Deranged Visions. Very sporadic posting, but I think I have found my spark again. Anyway, you can see the real Javakoala as a talking head in a few of the videos. And, yes, I know I stumble a little -- Okay, A LOT!!!

So, instead of doing a theme, I decided to do a slight mix of Night Flight and a drive-in/grindhouse experience. Yeah, me and a easy dozen others, I know. But I hope I can convey a little something of what it was like watching movies when I was a kid. Except some of these won't be lite films.

The first one is A Scream in the Streets. Sleazy exploitation/sexploitation mixed with a bad cop drama about a murderous rapist on the loose. I will post the link here, but not link the video itself. Insanely NOT SAFE FOR WORK. It is stunning what passed for a hard-R rating back then in the drive-in/grindhouse circuit. But it is no worse than what you'd see in Game of Thrones, except it ain't classy, and the camera lingers WAAAAAY too long sometimes.

Give it a watch, and tell me if you find the clip from Hercules to be funny, or am I the only one?

As of right now, I have 4 drive-in/Night Flight-ish postings on Youtube. Yes, there are feature-length films included. I've tried my best to find obscure or no-longer-available films.

I have a few insane flicks I intend to post soon that aren't even in English. I mean, one is just a monster in a Gestapo outfit who runs around stabbing people. That's about all there is to it.

I also intend to do a series called Deranged Visions in the Classroom. Those episodes will be educational films. Yes, I intend to do a show featuring the highway safety films. I find them frightening, and I'm a lifelong, old-school gorehound. The only thing scarier than the highway safety films are the STD films. Or maybe the geriatric sex videos we watched in in college for our Sex Ed class.

I have needed to do this as a form of therapy. No personal stories, but I will say I needed to "get my groove back", so to speak. I love gathering the materials for these shows as I get to do a little bit of research into the films, as well as raid the stuff at https://archive.org/

So, check it out. Give me suggestions. Hell, give me a list of hard-to-find titles, and I'll see what I can do.

Why, Rev, that's a good article, you write well, my man. Congrats, and I hope the movie makes a splash.
