Girdler made some of the most entertaining bad movies ever, with The Manitou as one of my faves. But let's look at his two animal attack movies. Which one do you like better?

Grizzly or Day of the Animals? Vote!

The Burgomaster

This is like asking whether you'd prefer a kick in the nuts or a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.  I chose GRIZZLY, only because the DVD copy I have is better quality than my DAY OF THE ANIMALS DVD.

I like them both. Seriously, they are both hilariously bad. I picked Day of the Animals though because you get to watch Leslie Neilsen's stunt double wrestle a grizzly bear. And the science is right out of a schlocky '50's sc-fi movie.

There's also another great "animals attack" movie called The Beasts are in the Streets. IIRC a trucker has a heart attack while driving his truck, crashes into a zoo and thereby releases all the dangerous animals onto the unsuspecting public.

I haven't seen "Day of the Animals" in years 'n' years but I saw "Grizzly" again on Turner Classic Movies fairly recently and enjoyed it, so I'm gonna vote for that one.

I enjoyed Day of the Animals quite a bit.  Grizzly is has great "mauling" scenes but I thin DotA is much more enjoyable.
