Seen it once back in rental days while camping. We actually brought a portable TV and two vcr's (so I could make copies of our rentals) and set it up in the big tent.
Don't remember much about The Mutations but I do recall some impressive monster make up f/x.

Interesting story...

THE MUTATIONS aka THE FREAKMASTER was directed as something of a labor of love by famed cinematographer Jack Cardiff (BLACK NARCISSUS, THE AFRICAN QUEEN, WAR AND PEACE) and is one of that odd subgenre from the 70s that featured real-life 'human oddities' in some major roles.

It's got Donald Pleasance, Julie Ege, Oscar-nominated little person actor Michael Dunn, the second worst Venus Flytrap monster in history (see THE REVENGE OF DR. X for the worst), Pop-Eye Perry in his only film role, a genuine alligator skinned lady from Mississippi, and Tom Baker in freak makeup stomping on a midget's birthday cake.

I think it's required viewing!  :twirl:

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I remember Popeye Perry from a freak book.

Damn, it's not on netflix. I really wanna see it. Has anyone ever seen "The House That Dripped Blood" with Jon Pertwee as a vampire?
