Hey, I appreciate the hell out of Circus as a member. That goes without saying.

In this case, however, I'd like to focus on his avatar. Normally, I change my avatar once every 6-12 months, typically after getting bored with the last one, or just finding something that really reflect my personality or interests in some way. However, I generally try not to do it often, and I also prefer others not to change their's often because it gets confusing.

However, I personally give Circus full carte blanche in avatar-changing. He has got to be the only member who can change his avatar as often as he wants and I NEVER have a problem picking him out. His avatars have a perfect combination of amusement, consistency in theme, and simplicity.

I just felt like saying something about it.

You will have a lot of trouble doing this.  You have cornered the market on the one-and-only "most interesting man in the world."

Thanks. I've thought of that lately. I don't know if I'll be able to change my avatar ever again.

It's about time this thread was made. I LOVE his taste in avatars. It's always a clown but it's constantly a different picture. I love how people do this, I picked up my own theme of using pictures of Ed Wood and Johnny Depp's portrayal of Ed in Tim Burton's Ed Wood. Information Geek always has anime based avatars, RC Merchant is usually using Bela Lugosi, and I'm probably forgetting some other people who do this. It's a way to keep the avatar fresh but using thematic avatars keeps something familiar about the user and helps you pick them out of all the other posts. Circus is the best example, he's the only one who does clowns. As far as I'm concerned as far as this site goes, Circus has copyrighted clowns.

Hear hear! I hereby make this proclamation. Nobody else is allowed to do clown avatars but Circus. Let be so.

Pennywise won't be happy to hear about this...

Even when Circus changes his avatar you still know its him without having to look at the name. Pretty good accomplishment. The only thing is i'm afraid he'll run out of clown pictures eventually. :teddyr:

He's got plenty to recycle through. And I've noticed that he has before.

Fine, we'll just say Circus isn't allowed to use "It" images. Only Pennywise can.
