Did you ever wonder what happened to Sammy Petrillo, the Jerry Lewis imitator who starred in BELA LUGOSI MEETS A BROOKLYN GORILLA?  Well, he's in this "adults only" feature directed by the infamous Doris Wishman.

Petrillo plays Stanley Bebble, a nerdy guy who runs a marriage counseling service out of the apartment where he lives with his mother (also played by Petrillo in drag with the dubbed voice of Doris Wishman).  Petrillo has a very "1970s look" in this movie (wavy shoulder length hair and obnoxious suits and ties).

Another actor you might recognize is Richard Towers (who often used other names in his movie credits).  He played the father in the original LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT!

The janitor in Bebble's apartment building has a habit of peeking through keyholes and watching people have sex (these scenes are often tinted).  At one point, Stanley sees the janitor peeking through a keyhole and confronts him.  The janitor explains, "I just dropped a piece of soap and was bending over to pick it up."

This is a totally screwy Wishman flick with the usual bad dialogue, bad camera work, bad editing, bad acting . . . everything that could be bad IS bad.  But, hey, Sammy Petrillo is in it!  Another terrible gem from Something Weird.

Here's what Sammy looks like in this movie:

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Quentin Tarintino could try to remake this.

Duke also sang for Fred Flinstone!

I ordered this movie from an online DVD-R seller, but the guy was apparently out of business because he never responded to my e-mails and voicemail, never charged me for the movie, and never sent it to me.
