So, this is the trailer for the upcoming Three Stooges movie, directed by The Farrelly Brothers.  It stars Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, Sean Hayes as Larry, and Will Sasso as Curly.

I hate to say it, but that actually looks better than I feared it would. I'm not saying it looks good, mind you. Only better than it could have been.

I have to agree, essentially.  It doesn't look as bad as I imagined.

But, it is a trailer, so I'm guessing it's just the best parts.

I do recall both Jim Carrey and Sean Penn being involved at one point.

I just think it's weird to see someone playing the people/characters and it NOT being a biographical film.  It does seem to capture the spirit/essence of them though.  Eh.

I doubt it will be as funny as these guys.

And I am sure it won't be as funny as the original short films with Curly.

It might end up being as good as the stooges with Joe Besser though.

I'm a HUGE Stooge fanatic...so I couldn't watch it without breaking down into fits of sobbing.
Just stupid.
A bio-pic-OK.
But this is just a bad idea.

Not as blashphomes as THIS though....

Looks better than anything the Farrelly Brothers released in recent years.

Frankly, the Farrelly's had two great movies:
Dumb and Dumber
Kingpin.

All downhill from there.

I'm a long time fan of the Stooges and this looks just plain sad,in my humble opinion. I feel that they were comic,as well as,choreographic geniuses. Maybe I'm being too picky but it's pretty much impossible to even half way duplicate their timing and comedy. Long live the originals!

Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

Even if this gets horrible reviews, I will probably see it because I am a Stooges fan and I generally enjoy Farrelly Brothers movies.  Even their bad movies usually have a couple of tasteless scenes that are worth watching.

Didn't look great, didn't look completely worthless.  They did a decent job with acting as the original actors did.  A lot of the gags in the trailer are just not funny, though a couple were alright.  I'll admit though, that a lot of Three Stooges gags don't work at all without proper context.  Which is kind of hilarious but true.

I am fairly impressed that they're just putting the stooges into the modern world though, and not even trying to update them.  To me at least, that takes a bit more courage than trying to revamp the characters.
