What do you think are some of the most effective action b-movies? shoot-em-up type films.

I can't seem to think of very many. the last half of Bad Taste comes to mind ...

Fred Olen Ray's Armed Response with David Carradine and Lee Van Cleef is pretty good of its' type.

Don't most (if not all) Steven Seagal movies qualify?
And the full range of Van Damme movies? And Chuck Norris movies?

Ah, yes.  A classic that doesn't get mentioned much in here.  Where are all the Jim van Bebber fans, dammit!

I'm partial to Silent Rage (Chuck Norris meets slasher) and Troma's War...

I always go for low budget action films to this one:  Samurai Cop

If that didn't convince you, then I don't know what will!

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Wow that's so bad.  I have to see that now!

That was amazing!  How have I never seen this movie before?!?!?

A couple of observations:

*  It sure was polite of those bad guys to wait their turn and only attack one at a time.
*  When did Terence Howard and Arsenio Hall have a baby?  I thought they broke up...

A couple that I have reviewed recently:

Cyborg Cop - a classic straight to video 1990s action film with a wooden lead, plenty of explosions and a gratuitous sex scene, everything you could want really.

Eye of the Eagle an absurdly OTT Vietnam war film with an explosion or gunfight every two minutes throughout the runtime, a young Robert Patrick stars. The later follow-up Last Stand at Lang Mei is almost as action packed but with a better story.

Mondo Esoterica - Cult and obscure DVD reviews from Nosferatu to Black Emanuelle
