We had about 2 millimeters of freezing rain the other day with an inch of snow on top of it.  Luckily the ice melted immediately when I threw some salt on it.  It's snowing here right now, light snow but from looking at the weather map it should continue for quite a while.  Supposed to get up to 26 F today then in the tens for the next couple of days and back up to 27 for Christmas.

We had about 3" - 4" of snow to start with, so with this on top of it we'll have a very white Christmas  :teddyr:

We had the warmest December in over 30 (!) years, with temps up to 66 F (!) on Christmas Eve in some parts of the country.

It was so warm in Berlin that cherry blossoms actually started to bloom (!). In frikkin December  :bouncegiggle:

The weather people said yesterday that we have had the coldest winter in 18 years, thus far.

It has been snowing for the last couple of days.  Today the windchill is -25 degrees celcius.  And it IS windy.

Have I mentioned I work outdoors?  May will not come soon enough.

Would you like to swap continents? It is very warm here right now.  :hot:

Its really, really cold and windy out here. Its only gone up to 52 which only feels like 45 in a city near Houston,Texas. I wish there wouldn't be anymore Artic fronts for this season. Its really been a pain in the butt, considering the fact I don't have central heating within the home. :bluesad:

Jack

Regular heat wave here, it's supposed to get up to 19 today and 24 tomorrow!

But then down to -6 for Sunday and -12 for Monday (those are the highs).

Cold, with scary Minnesota-type cold on the horizon.

Brisk? That's an understatement  :buggedout:

It's around the 0 mark here in old New Jersey.  It will get down to around -4 and the odd thing is is that we're going to have a day that's above freezing with rain (as well as at night) and then the next day it's going to be 44 for the day wth about -4 for the night.

Behold, the wild rollercoaster ride that is New Jersey weather!  :bouncegiggle:

Jack

It was -15 when I went to work this morning.  That's worse than brisk, it's downright nippy!

I brought the newspaper in the house and then I picked it up and took it into the other room - it was so cold it hurt my hand  :bouncegiggle:
