33F - 50F this week. Days can be sunny but it still freezes at night. We had flurries of snow last week.

It rained a lot here last night and I didn't notice.

I just wish that the Western Cape would get some rain as it needs it.

High winds. The snow, hailstones and rain are arguing about over which gets to come down. Last night it was snow, this morning the rain had a surprising come back, but the hailstones started winning around lunch time.

Windy. Such winds making it hazardous to drive. With a 20% chance of rain after 1:00 a.m. They call Chicago the Windy City. Ever the misnomer. The area in which I live is far windier on the average than Chicago. I think the average wind speed here makes it one of the 5 windiest spots in the U.S.

For those friends who think it doesn't get cold here, in 2009, the temperature in the Free State was -2 degrees Celsius.

Not too bad out here in Iowa right now.  A bit windy today.  I'll have to check the weather to see what it's doing tonight and tomorrow so I can decide when to mow the lawn.

In one word "HOT!" Of course, this follows several days of unseasonably cooler weather.

Enjoying some nice autumn weather. Leaves are turning, it's damp and misty, overcast and about 59 F. We had enough sun this summer, so if it were up to me it could stay like this throughout October.

We went from 20F to 60F in less than three days. 
I miss winter already
