I actually saw a lot of these movies this year, more than any of the other years.  Of the ones on there, my favorite was Harry Potter 7.2.

Well, I recently posted in a different thread (the one on TIN TIN, I believe), that box office != goodness.

This list bears that out in spades.

Of the ones I've seen, my favorite is RIO.  I think it "deserves" to be higher than 18.

The fourth PotC was a big disappointment given the franchise expectation...fun enough for a night out but totally forgettable (not unlike #3, imo). 

Ah, well.  So long as crappy movies keep making the most money, that's what we'll get.

Only seen two (Bridesmaids & Super 8), still want to check out Rise of the Planets of the Apes and maybe The Help. Not very interested in the rest.

I've seen a grand total of zero of those.

I've seen five - Pirates, Thor, Captain America, Bridesmaids & X-Men - and only two of those were in the theater.  I liked them all but nothing blew my mind. 
2011 was kind of a dull year, too many sequels, the bad movies weren't fun and the prestige movies were unmemorable.  I'm more excited for this year, with stuff like Prometheus, Django Unchained, Avengers, Moonrise Kingdom, and finally a non-sequel Pixar movie.

Meh.  The best part was the first fight at the beginning.  Also, the CGI looked really, really cheesey.  I can only assume it looked better on the big screen.

The only 2 I have any interest at all in seeing would be RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and CAPT.AMERICA.

I've only seen Rise of the Planet of the Apes which surprised me and I really liked it. Felt it featured good acting which is why I think it won me over. Still prefer the classic Ape films to it personally but felt pretty true in spirit to them on some levels, actually it kind of felt a bit like the classic original film in reverse. Want to see the X-Men, Captain America and Thor films all of which I've heard good things about. Have very little interest in the rest.

I saw 6 of these.  HARRY POTTER was the best and made my year-end top 10 list (though I admit that was a lifetime achievement award for the series).  The others I saw were PLANET OF THE APES, BRIDESMAIDS, X-MEN, SUPER 8, and MISISON: IMPOSSIBLE.  I actually enjoyed them all.  I've got no plans to see any of the 14 movies I missed.  I'm shocked that people continue to pay to see TRANSFORMERS films.  I guess this assures that they'll make another one.

Only one I've seen is Super 8 and I thought it was very enertaining.
