     Did'ja ever sit there, watching a favorite piece of cinecheese for the fifty-lebenth time, and wonder what it must have been like, to be part of the cast or crew?

    Were you envious?
Me, I would've liked to work for either Corman or Wood in the 50's, as one of the cast-just the sheer audacity of some of those films, it must have been a hoot!

If I'm restricted to b-movies, I'll agree to the original post, and add some more:

Jesus Franco: I imagine being around all of those lovely loose 70's Euro-babes enough times would eventually lead to getting lucky.

Sam Raimi: for a number of reasons, not the least of which is being in the presence of Bruce Campbell in his cheesy prime.

Don Coscarelli: Similar to Sam Raimi. Bonus: working with Coscarelli gets me not only working with Bruce Campbell again (Bubba Ho-Tep), but several time with the great Angus Scrimm.

Mario Bava - he had such a great visual flair

It probably would've been cool to work for Wood, too; at least I bet there was never a dull moment!

.Al Adamson-not only would I have been able to meet Lon Chaney,John Carradine,Angelo Rossito,J.Carrol Naish,Kenneth Strickfadden (the fx man behind the original FRANKENSTEIN-who loaned some of his old electrical Telsa coils to Al)-but he just seems like a nice guy-and it looks like it would have been FUN.

To be on the set of MARK OF THE VAMPIRE-wow. As much as I love the original DRACULA-Browning should have done the second half of it(the talky,stagey scenes in London) more atmosphiric-much like the mood in MARK OF THE VAMPIRE-even though Lugosi has limited screen time-and no dialouge (with the exception of the final scene.

And I'd have been on the set of LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT,FREAKS,the UNKNOWN,the SHOW,the DEVIL DOLL-! Heck-all the way back to the early days of cinema-(1915 to be exact.)  That would be something to experiance!

My first reaction is Alfred Hitchcock, but apparently he did not work well with Actors, althought that may be a over exaggeration from people he did just not get along with. If however that is true, then definatly quentin tarantino in Pulp fiction, not only is that movie awesome but the cast had a lot off fun on set, like all quentin tarantino movies. =)

And I would take any job, any job at all, on the set of COOL HAND LUKE.  Mmmmmm, 1960s Paul Newman.........
