I like neurotic humor but Woody's flicks are very hit-and-miss with me.  As far as Woody the person, yeah, what he did was pretty messed up - I guess he figured after Polanski, his transgressions wouldn't be a big deal

You know when I wrote to you in another thread I had no idea this thread was here...   WOODY ALLEN got really good with ANNIE HALL, and better and better.  I have no hair but I must be that old-school-hippy, because several of WOODY ALLEN's films are brilliant.
