Now that the weekend's almost here, you should take some time to fix that thing up.  I'd suggest replacing that plastic gas tank with a nice metal one, like this:



And put it in the trunk so it'll be safe!

Nahh, I won't put it in the trunk: I'll just lash a rope to it and drag it behind the car. I hope the gasoline and the sparks don't get too excited.

I have now been offered SA Rand 8000 for the car as it stands: this is for real, by the way. My car died on me in November last year and I am selling it as is to a company that specializes in Fiat cars. That R8000 plus a few thousand more by September this year - when I get my yearly birthday bonus - should be enough for a down payment on another car for me. 

Just no more Fiat's please.
