My patience for the most part has gotten better (I do tech support for a living, it has to be good) but I've found I have far less tolerance for bulls**t than I used to.  I openly laughed at a car sales the other day when he tried to tell me a car's tired were less than a year old, and a few years back I would have politely ignored the comment.

I notice I'm more tolerant of some things I used to be against, and less tolerant of some things I used to consider OK.

I also have a far greater understanding of my dad, and there are times I'm sure I'm turning into him. Medication is helping with that though.

I find I have less tolerance for putting up with people I don't care for.   Life's too short for that.

Oddly my music is YOUNGER as I get older.  I was all about classic and prog rock when a teen and 20's.  Now I'm much broader (in music and pants size)and listen to lots of brand new stuff.

As I get older I find that all the signals and signposts I used to rely on have become increasingly more complex than I expected they would be. The more I learn about the world, the more I realize I can learn. It's not being lost, it's that the wilderness is broader than can be imagined. Thank goodness for that.

At the same time I'm becoming more comfortable with the fact. I may have lost a dogma, but I've gained the ability to trust my tracking abilities.

I have found the ideas that I held the most close to me were wrong.

I found that sometimes I have to look out for me and mine, and let others fend for themselves.

I have found that the people can always surprise you, and not to let first impressions judge someone.

I have found that guns are a blast, and not something to regulate.

I have found that my politics were wrong.

Lastly, I have found that I am worthwhile.
