astronauts were tested by making them think they were captured and
tortured by aliens, who were working it turns out with the US Gov...

Martin Sheen was one of them....What was the name of that one?

All of the first years episodes had creatures.....the best horror-sci fi on television

The Zanti misfits, and the episode "It crawled out of the woodwork" , and the
alien blob that held all the people in a house, and the episode with David McAllum
and all the others were so imaginative and creepy!

I found it, it was called Nightmare, and it starred James Shigeta as well....and the aliens were called the Ebonites
