The Burgomaster

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Rev. Powell

16. RONIN (1998)

This is not a car movie recommendation obviously but I thought I had to throw this bit of "hot merging action" in here somewhere:

Not sure if you want to include them but the 1950s gave us some great hot rod films with numerous drag races...girls, greasers, racing thrills.

Hot Rod Gang (1958)

Actually there's several more of these B-movie classics out there. They used to be a regular feature on the old Drive-In Classics channel.

26. TRUCK TURNER
This is a scene where the music's just as good as the chase.
"Pursuit Of The Pimpmobile"
It's sounds like something from a seventies TV show, but it's Isaac Hayes and his band jammin' away!
This clip has the song playing over top of the scene, instead of the original soundtrack.

Pacman000

The Love Bug
Herbie Rides Again
Herbie goes to Monte Carlo

What can I say?  I like that little car; he had personality.

If you want a more serious movie, may I suggest Rebel without a Cause?
