I enjoy a nice monster movie every now and then.  You see so few these days.  I'm not 100% happy with the story but find it original and interesting enough for a creature.
Ah, the good old days.

The Haunting is one of the few movies that genuinely scares me.  I love it!

86. Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht AKA Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)

Werner Herzog's remake of the Murnau film, and I have to admit I enjoy it more than the original.

88 - Antropophagus (aka Grim Reaper) - Italy 1980. This one scared me a lot as a kid...I watched it on tv (it aired in afternoon!) with my mother. Who covered my eyes with a pillow during one of the goriest scenes.

Not exactly a scary horror film in that it's very funny and I find it strangely moving, but it's got enough freaky supernatural stuff to qualify.

92: Jans Rautenbach's eerie, frightening, disturbing and amusing (yes: it is very funny in parts) Jannie Totsiens [Johnny Farewell]. Once seen, never forgotten ~ when you take the South African situation of 1970 and place it in the setting of a mad house, just wow......
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

93: Percival Rubens' The Demon ~ stunningly bad film with a terrible script and even worse acting but it has its' moments.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Trevor

94: Cedric Sundstrom's The Shadowed Mind (1989) ~ a truly creepy film about the crazy inhabitants of a weird asylum for the super-rich. Beyond creepy with a nerve jangling soundtrack and a camera that is almost a participant in the film.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
