Hmm... not sure I like this either for Barbarella or for director Refn.

Could be cool if they got the right gal to play Barbarella. Some years ago there was talk of a remake of the film making the rounds and at that time it was rumored that Rose McGowan of "Charmed" and "Planet Terror" was in the running for the title role. That would've been pretty sweet. She's hot and she's got the proper butt kickin' skills.
