We just had snow!

Ahhhh-the hell with snow. I live in Michigan.

I was like a little kid yesterday.

That is 100% true.

A case in point: a year or so ago, I was looking after my special sister's children while she was chatting to friends at a restaurant and the kids were playing on the slides and swings, so I decided to join them playing, sitting with my 40 year old bum on a slide. My sister came running, saw me on the slide and said to her daughter: "Look, Uncle Trevor's on the slide!"

Her daughter looked at me, looked at her mom, shrugged and said "So? He's on the slide? Big deal!"

I should just add that there is a picture of me on that slide on my FB page: the caption reads UNCLE ZOMBIE KNOWS HOW TO PLAY.

That's what I like about kids. Naturally open-minded. The trick is teaching them to think critically without spoiling that, and seeing things from their point of view is a big part of it. The kids are lucky to have you for an uncle, Trevor.
