I should explain that the South African word 'eish' (pronounced AYSH) is an expression which shows dismay and disbelief at the same time. My two eish moments are

1. Disbelief at the attitude of the Queen keeping silent for four days after Princess Diana's death and then only speaking due to public pressure.

2. President Bush sitting caught like a deer in the headlights after being told about the tragedy unfolding in New York.

Anything Joe Biden says.

That would include that silly 'put you back in chains' comment too, I suppose.

The fact my high school nemesis actually looked pretty good at our reunion, when last time I saw her she'd gained at least twenty pounds.

Also that I've never before heard of such a useful word as "eish"! I'm definitely going to start using it in sentences.

The way people drive, as if all the other cars are holograms.
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.
