I've not seen it in years, & kinda want to see it again. I remember liking it, but I don't remember much about it. I susupect it's just another mediocre b-grade conspiracy movie put out by Sunn Classics. Watching it on YouTube is easier than digging out the tape. And there's a good chance my VCR would just eat the tape anyways.

It's more of a dull drama. Nothing exciting, interesting or cinematic about it. I wouldn't even call it sci-fi.

On a similar note, Bill Rebane's snail paced The Alpha Incident (1978) has at least a few f/x (and a cool limited setting). Not saying it is better than Hangar 18 but didn't pain me as much while watching.
