I hope our desert islands are close enough that I can paddle over and listen to your records...'specially these two.

Do I get a 'boo' for picking eleven albums? If not I nominate Controlled Bleeding's "Dub Songs From A Shallow Grave". Bought it at least 3 years ago, and I still listen to it on a daily basis. Simply AMAZING album!
"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them" - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

Well I can't imagine why... in fact, I was thinking of listing 10 more completely different albums! :teddyr:

No particular order:

Elbow - Leaders of the Free World
Radiohead - OK Computer
Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper
David Bowie - Scary Monsters (the reissue)
Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight
Jeff Buckley - Grace
The Clash - Sandanista (London Calling and The Clash are definitely better, but I love Sandanista as well and it's much longer - after all I'm stuck on an island, so I gotta consider quantity too)
The Jam - Direction Reaction Creation (a bit of a cheat since it's a box set that has just about everything they've recorded, but see flimsy excuse above)
Polaris - Adventures of Pete and Pete Soundtrack

As an 11th disc, I think I'd have to pick something by Nickelback - my least favorite band in the world. I'd go with this one just so that I'm constantly reminded of why it was such a good idea for me to pack my albums ahead of time, cause after all, I could've ended up with 10 Nickelbacks (or 9 Nickelbacks and a Bieber) if I had left it up to chance. Sometimes it takes something really bad to realize how good everything else is! So Nickelback as a perspective choice!

Check out my movie reviews and articles at: www.cinedump.com

Or, don\\\'t check them out - see if I care. You\\\'re not my real mom anyway. Unless, you are. In which case, whatever, I\\\'ll do what I want. It\\\'s my hot body. Y\\\'all don\\\'t know me.

How 'bout 10 albums by ONE band???

I'd choose THE ROLLING STONES:

That's only nine!!! What should be my tenth? Their Satanic Majesties Request? :twirl: :drink:

I did a list, but thought of ten more:

1.)Elephant by The White Stripes

2.) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

3.) "Heroes" by David Bowie

4.) The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails

5.) Raw Power by Iggy and The Stooges

6.) Presenting the Fabulous Ronettes featuring Veronica by The Ronettes

7.) Thriller by Michael Jackson

8.) The Stranger by Billy Joel

9.) American Idiot by Green Day

10.) Bad Hair Day by "Weird Al" Yankovic
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
