If I'm not mistaken, it's been legal for women to go topless here in Canada for years. I remember the controversy a while back. Seemed like there were more women walking around topless in protest before the law was changed than there have been doing it legally afterward. The irony is it's a right few people will want to exercise anyway. Once it's legal, even the protesters lose their motivation to go topless.

What I find interesting here is that this woman is a topless dancer by profession. It explains why she's completely comfortable doing this, but it seems to me that her work is valued precisely because bare boobs are not something you see out on the street every day.

While I agree laws prohibiting toplessness for women and not men are somewhat unfair, I'd prefer to have the field leveled the other way. I see plenty of men outside in the summer who I wish would put on a damn shirt.
