I'm SO glad to be back!
I was laid up for a while with edema (fluid buildup) in my legs and feet. I'm a lot better, but I still can't walk very far. I'm getting around with a wheelchair.

I'm sure Trace told you something, so I just wanted to let you know I'm better. Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Ugh, that sounds awful.. hope you continue to convalesce and can eventually stand erect again.  Huh huh, huh huh.. I said 'erect'.

Best of wishes!

Please be well, Alan: I don't know if the four friends in your poster can help out there?
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Sorry to hear about that Alan, I was wondering where you were.  Take it easy and get well

Andrew

I had no clue you were ill.  Recover quickly!

By the way, that's the first time I've ever seen that poster.  It's cool and reminds me of some other films, like Valley of the Dragons.

What Andrew said.
Nice poster. It has fleeing populace. It's not a Kaiju film untill you have fleeing populace, and a fuel tank explodes.
Oh, and a tank melts.

Mainly that I still eat like a teenager, lots of prepared meats, carbonated beverages; that's changing.

So sorry,gang....I should have said something but I've had so much going on. Taking care of Alan,Christmas,3 birthdays and my boss has been away from work since last Tuesday sick. His Dad is there 24/7 ,living in the store and not doing anything except running the register . All the rest of the work, stocking and cleaning has fallen on mine and Mary's shoulders. I'm wearing out a little bit.
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

    Thank you.
THE MONSTER TIMES #26 carried a copy of that poster inside; it had a place of honor just above my headboard.

Woah, didn't know that you were sick, I did see that you haven't posted in the Picture of the Day thread in a while, but I thought that you were out of town with your wife, visiting family. Take care dude, and you would have a hard time trying to eat right here in New Orleans :twirl:
yeah no.

bob

Good luck in your recovery.

I didn't realize either that Alan had been ill.  It's been a busy and difficult time for all of us, and you've got a lot to deal with.  We're glad Alan is better.  Thanks.
