I sleep with the following:

1. Either my elderly Ninja turtle, a Cookie Monster or my forty-five year old teddy bear.
2. The bedside lamp is more often than not on and sometimes the TV too.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I cant sleep without the TV on. Or George Norry's AM COAST TO COAST show on late night radio.

I sleep with her, too; works out really good.
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Silence works best for me though heaters or air conditioners help.  I dont sleep with any objects.

I sleep with rare (3-4 times a year) but briefly intense night terrors and have since about the turn of the century. That's why my beds are never next to windows. No fun waking up with no idea where you are, who you are, flailing around, hallucinating in the grip of heart-pounding confused terror that lasts sometimes ten seconds. I once bloodied someone's nose in that state and a psychologist told me that almost qualifies (ha!) as a psychotic episode, which actually nearly disqualified me for a job I was going for that had an in-depth interview process. Used to have a friend back in the day who had sleep paralysis (complete with the classic Old Hag manifestations) and I had night terrors. A great pair, us...

I've encountered the Hag, and twice, I've attacked Trace in my sleep, believing I was fighting off an adversary; scared us both silly.

Nah, I sleep with my dog, on the bed.
yeah no.

I sleep with the TV on, I just prefer having some noise hate complete silence makes me uneasy.  Need some sort of noise to sleep
Ah, the good old days.

The Burgomaster

My wife and I sleep with our two small dogs.  The dogs usually start out on the foot of the bed, but they change positions during the night and sometimes sleep curled up against my stomach or in between my wife and me.  Quite frequently, I fall asleep listening to my iPod.  Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night and something creepy like "Don't Fear the Reaper" is playing.  I'm probably getting all sorts of subliminal suggestions from this music while I'm sleeping.  This can only end badly.

I wish I had someone to share my bed with but I don't, so every morning my poor old pillow is squashed flat and is covered in slobber.  :buggedout: :twirl: :tongueout:
