Anyone else planning on watching a Jason movie today, when it seems kind of appropriate?

picked the rerelease DVD of this up yesterday




By my calculations I've not seen this movie since at least 1993. Literally the only thing I remember is a rock chick getting stabbed to death with her own guitar, lol

Jason takes manhattan is false advertising and a big tease.  He is only in the city for the last 10-15 mins of the movie.  It should be called Jason takes a boat ride.  Don't watch the movie before a cruise.

Ordinarily I would but to be honest, I've seen quite a few of the "F13" series this year already so I'm a little burnt out on them.

In honor of the season I was actually considering giving "Silent Night, Deadly Night" a spin tonight.

"Jason Takes Manhattan" has what is probably my favorite poster art of the entire "F13" series, though. Love that humongous Jason looming over the skyline!!!

If it's on Netflix I may watch part 6 when I get home from work.  Best in the series IMHO.

As a matter of fact, that's what I'm doing as well - showing on the big screen in my area, so I'm gonna go check it out (despite the fact that I've already seen it once this holiday season).

lol, yeah most of the movie is on the boat. but having just watched it, I'd say it seemed more like they spent at least 20 minutes in Manhattan?

surprised how much I enjoyed this one. basic but entertaining. the guy wandering round the boat telling everyone they're doomed could not be more clichéd! pretty sure I've seen all the F13's except part 5 and "Jason X"
