Whoa: he's dead because he shot himself and NOT because you threw him out.

I blamed myself a lot for Dad's passing in 2008 and Mom told me that she couldn't even help him: he died in front of her.

Don't tell yourself that and don't believe that!
Suicide is an act of inherent selfishness: someone takes the quick way out and leaves their friends and family grieving and blaming themselves.
You did NOT do this.  He did.  Grieve for him, but don't take a burden on yourself that isn't yours.
