I have never seen the first Sleepaway Camp, but, oddly enough, I've seen all the sequels.

Oh yeah I meant to say as well (can't edit posts yet) that I've never seen Faster, p***ycat! Kill! Kill! even though I have a poster of it

Don't feel too bad, I've never seen it either, though it is high on my list of must-watch movies. Maybe when I get another Netflix subscription, I'll try to track it down that way.
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

I finally watched it the other night. It's the kind of movie Tarentino wishes he could make. It was incredible. All the character shadings, even down to clothes, are perfectly drawn. A sleaze film that can be used as a textbook for filmmaking.

spot on, exactly my thoughts. It's like the perfect Tarantino movie. was sad to hear Tura Satana passed away. She actually sent me an email once! contacted her through her site in about 1998 asking a few questions about the movie and she replied

believe it or not, Plan 9 From Outer Space... I guess my badmovie card should be revoked

That film is actually how I know of this site from years ago, I have a poster on my wall now  :teddyr: - I have a distinct memory of having badmovies bookmarked like 2 computers ago but never made it onto the forums

haha, yeah I really need to watch it, there's no excuse...

RHPS is one you either get into or not.  A matter of taste.  It makes me giggle; but I totally get why it would not appeal to Ron.

Arous, on the other hand...must be just an oversight.

RHPS was banned here after one (yes, one!) person complained to the censors!  :buggedout:

That is OK Ron.  I'm just having fun running around crowing, "I HAVE SEEN A BLACK-AND-WHITE BAD MOVIE THAT RC HAS NOT SEEN!"  C'mon: how often can I say that?   :twirl:

A ton of 80s films surprisingly and most modern-era bad movie classics. I also own a ton of bad movies (many movie packs I haven't got around to watching yet). I just know a lot of epic movie badness awaits me...

RC, check out The Brain From Planet Arous, it has a certain subtle sleaziness going on you'll likely enjoy.

I finally seen the BLACK SLEEP (1956) the other day-good lord-what a waste of so many cool actors.
I just wanted to kick the f**king TV.Bela just stands around-Lon has no lines either-Tor Johnson is barley on the screen...John Carradine says "Kill! Kill!"-spouts a few line of horse s**t-and then it's over. Whatta let down.

John Agar rocks in Brain From Planet Arous. Black Sleep is quite disappointing given all the star power involved.
