I hate the meds I'm on

I get violent mood swings, I have bad depression and I have almost constant suicidal urges: all this from thyroid meds! I don't know what the hell is going on with me.

You need to see your doctor.  He might can do some adjustments to get rid of those side effects.

Trevor, I don't know about the medication you're taking but to normalize thyroid function in either a hyper or hypo state, increase iodine intake. Try adding powdered kelp into your diet, or for about fifteen dollars US order Lugol's solution, which for 180 years has been recognized as a safe way of receiving large amounts of iodine. The thyroid needs iodine to function.
