Eco-house movie?

Hello Everyone,
I remember seeing this scifi movie during the 90's
It was about this husband and wife who lived in a house. They were hippies or something and let their house turn into a jungle and it eventually became a living organism that started eating people

They had a son who I remember got scrubbed down with sharp bristled scrubbers by the gym teacher and gym students because he didn't shower. The gym teacher eventually went to the house and was eaten by the plants/house.

Sounds like a Sci-Fi Original from the 1990s to me, yes I recall this one..it was called Habitat (1997)...
