The World's End (2013)

Not as good as Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz but a lot of fun all the same, even for a teetotaler like myself. Basically, a guy who's never really grown up - Simon Pegg - decides to rally his old school friends to re-enact an epic pub crawl they undertook once they left school and which they never completed, due to all of them being legless due to drink.

They do this and find that their old home town has got some funny new residents, including someone that passed away years ago  and that their ex-schoolmaster hasn't aged a day and doesn't react badly to having his head punched off. 

Not bad: check it out and I can't believe how run down and bad Simon Pegg manages to look - that apart, it is always nice to see an ex James Bond getting the rough edge of the deal.

I agree with the first part of this sentence, not the last bit.

I'm a huge fan of Shaun... and Hot Fuzz, but couldn't get into this one at all.

The first 15/20 minutes is pretty good but then turns into too much mindless action and CGI, not enough comedy. (imo)

I did get a few chuckles out of the opening stages though, so not all was lost

I've been wanting to see this one.   Shaun was good; Fuzz was different but good and the trailers for World's End really appealed to me.  Mind you...I have been on a few of those pub crawls, so maybe it strikes a chord?

I enjoyed this one. I have to agree with everyone else not as good as the first two, but still highly enjoyable. I'll drink every once in a while and the idea of a pub crawl sounds like fun but I get smashed from one pint or two shots of vodka so I couldn't do the crawl.

Mind you...I have been on a few of those pub crawls, so maybe it strikes a chord?   

After one beer,  I am ready for bed, until it comes around again so I can jump on without falling off.

I guess it is really a matter of tastes, personally I think the three movies are a ramp. The first one is good, the second is really good, the third is great...
