I own that movie on DVD but I haven't watched it. My Dad bought it. I'm sure it's at least more historically accurate.

Well, I never owned a copy of the King of Fighters movie, but if I did I'd wonder what the heck I was thinking for buying it, before dousing it with (insert choice of flammable substance) and applying a match ...

Trevor, you actually threw away Diana?  As much as I disliked it as a movie, I very much liked the cinematography, and am hoping to score a cheap copy to study.   :teddyr:

If I knew that you were looking for a copy, I would have sent mine to you. The person that inspired me to be a bone marrow donor and an organ donor was nowhere to be seen in that huge disaster. Naomi Watts tried but even her Diana clothes looked like cheap knockoffs.  :buggedout:

The first movie I ever actively disliked, and yes - HATED, was ONLY WHEN I LAUGH.  It turned me off the drama genre for decades.

RUNNING SCARED (2006) is one of the few movies I did not finish, and stopped it after about 10 minutes.  Had it not been a rental, I may well have destroyed the disk as a favor to mankind.

Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I haven't, but a buddy of mine literally blew up his copy of Bucky Larson  :teddyr: :teddyr: :teddyr:

If it was historically accurate I wouldn't hate it as much.

It's an exploitation of tragic event and that's all.

The same can be said for every single 9/11 movie ever made. I don't mean the documentary stuff, but movies like World Trade Center (2006) and United 93 (2006) that were either overdramatized or flat-out fictitious tales of what might have happened on that day. Anything with Nicolas Cage in it, you can pretty much dismiss as made up b.s.

I pitched some old VHS porn into the garbage a while back, but you can get all of that for free on the Internet nowadays so I don't see it as any kind of loss. ;)

Watched a film last week called Raptor Ranch that I hated and decided to throw out. Thinking I'd warn my friends to prevent them watching something so bad I put a warning up on facebook telling them to avoid it (its not that the film itself was really that bad, I just found every character incredibly irritating, except for the heroine who was just bland).

I really should have guessed that the responses I would get would be along of the lines of "Wow, a film so bad even you won't watch it. I have to see this movie." When I think of all the time I spent trying unsuccessfully to get them to watch something like Grabbers or Feast and all I had to do was tell them to avoid them like the plague and they'd all have came running.

^ lol, I just had to go to youtube and check out Raptor Ranch  :teddyr:. is it really that bad? it does look terrible, but in a quite fun way imo...

btw, kind of relevant to the thread, this is the most scathing review of any movie I've ever seen. mark Kermode on Michael bay's 'pain and gain'.

Most movies that suck I feel bad for or am just like ahh they were trying to make some money. That movie with the Killer Sharks tintorero or whatever it was p**sed me off, and any movie that has sex between siblings/ family grosses me out. Night of the Lepus p**sed me off because the bunnies were so stupid , they should have looked at it and said "oh brother" and not released it.

and of course Dondi for obvious reasons

Rev. Powell

Not a movie, but I shredded a copy of Mike Diana's comic "Boiled Angel" (which had graphic artwork depicting child rape) because it disgusted me so much. I wrote a long article about why I destroyed it as a pro-free speech gesture.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

The special effects seem fine in Raptor Ranch, the acting is more or less what I'd expect from this kind of movie, but it was just the characters were so damn annoying and not even in a "I really want to see this character die" kind of way, it was just I want this movie to end right now. I've seen way worse films, but for some reason this one just really irked me and I got no enjoyment out of it at all.

I can't think of a movie that I hated that much. I usually donate them to a local thrift store if I'm not wild about them. I figure even the crappiest movie can do some good by giving a local charity some cash, even if it is at the cost of some poor sap's sanity.

Then again, if someone had done to one of my favorite fandoms what Spielberg had apparently done to Tintin, I'd probably throw the movie into the bottom of the trash bag after a fishing trip, and then bury it under what remains after I cut my fillets.
