Yeah, that first shot when you see her full face, that is really the actress pushing animal intestines out of her mouth. I tend to think that explains why her eyes are all wet and not from the "bleeding" eyes effect; wouldn't you cry if you had to hold animal guts in your mouth until Fulci shouts "Azione!"?
