Disliked Actors you couldn't believe had a career

There are probably worse candidates (Pauly Shore etc) but for me it's Steve Guttenberg. He was omni present throughout the 1980s, but I never thought he was all that funny (or convincingly dramatic in Bedroom Window). He is the cherry on top of annoyance in the otherwise hilariously bad Can't Stop the Music, as I always feel the urge to punch him when watching that movie.

I think everybody has that one actor who they simply can't stand, even if they don't know the exact reason why. For me it's Ryan Reynolds. He has the kind of face that I would never get tired of punching.

Owen Wilson is a close 2nd, mainly because of his voice work as "Lightning McQueen" in the "Cars" films... my kids watched those damn movies so many times that I don't ever want to hear his voice again.

I know I'm going back a ways, but I never could stand Van Johnson.
During the forties he became America's war film hero and general good guy character. But damn, he was just so fuggin' vanilla. Nevertheless one of it's biggest stars.

Channing Tatum's popularity is a constant source of bafflement for me.

The only movie where I ever found Bradley Cooper to be anything but vacuous and punchable was "Wet Hot American Summer"

Jason Bateman - I don't hate him, but he tends to be in such terrible movies (the first "Horrible Bosses" aside) that if I see his face on a poster it's Instant Red Flag.

John Leguizamo and Seth Green. I'm sure they're both nice guys they just look like they are both 5 feet tall and perfectly comfortable with a full face of make up I don't know what it is.

Christian Bale.  Even before he became a big deal, every time he popped up in something I was watching I was like, "Oh no!  It's that guy."

Jamie Campbell Bower.

Granted he's not a big star, and I am very grateful for that.  He's been awful in anything I've seen him in.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...
