Gatorade: made with real 'gators?

They sponsor the drinks at this year's Cricket World Cup. Having never tried it, I was wondering if part of the drink is made from real alligators?  :drink: :wink:

I always assumed it was meant for gators to drink?  I don't know, I'm not up on sports drinks.  :smile:

I think the name came from Florida's team originally. The Gators are a staple of football in the NCAA. I think they are more popular nationwide than the Seminoles, but not being from there I can't say for certain.
