For some reason I am utterly repulsed by facial piercings on women. (earrings don't count)
A woman could be astoundingly beautiful but the addition of a stud or hoop on their face totally ruins it for me.  Personally, I think nose studs are the worst.  They can make a good-looking woman look completely ghetto.  And I have to suppress a mad urge to use my index finger to yank out hoops from lips and/or eyebrows.

Some people don't mind facial piercings on women and more power to them.  Not me, though.

You?

I hate them. I don't even like the ubiquitous belly button piercings, though I can stand those.

Hate tattoos, too, although I can overlook them if they're small. Too many women have them now to object.

Really hate breast implants---that's pretty much a deal breaker. I did once date a woman who had them---real shame what she had done to herself out of low self-esteem. Never again, though.

Basically I find women most attractive when they look as natural as possible. Tasteful makeup is fine---if makeup is well done you shouldn't notice it. Too much makeup can be a turnoff, although if it's only done on special dress-up occasions it can be a nice change of pace.

Pretty much agree with what the Rev said, except I've never dated anyone with implants.
Pierced ears are fine, anything else, not so much.

Definitely not a fan of piercings or tattoos.  Yuck.
Nor heavy makeup.

Depends on the person and how distracting the piercing is.   For example, I don't really care for nose piercings, but I did see this one model with one that was just a little gem, and thought that it wasn't terrible looking. Still a little odd, but not terrible.

My general rule is that if its big enough that it looks like it might get caught on something or somebody could easily grab it-it might be a little too distracting.

So eyebrows and nose piercings to me can be manageable.  Lip and tongue piercings on the other hand are kind of tacky IMO.  Unless its dental in nature, having all that metal in your mouth doesn't seem like it would be healthy for you.

I don't mind tattoos that much.  But again, depends on how many and where they are.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Something like a small eyebrow piercing doesn't bother me much, if you're 16 and gong through your rebellious phase or whatever.  Nothing more than that though.  But tattoos...Ugh.  They're about as attractive to me as a really rancid fart that leaves everyone wanting to evacuate the premises.

Not a fan of big tattoos on women, although small ones tend not to bother me (which is a bit sexist as I go for large tattoos myself, although nothing that can't be covered with a short sleeved shirt). I don't mind ear piercings, although when they start stretching the earlobes to put big hoops in I find that to be a major turn off. I was once on a date with a girl who had her lower lip pierced. It didn't go to a second one, definitly influenced by when ever she took a drink and a little bit of liquid ran down her chin.

While women are free to do whatever makes them feel good, I don't find tattoos or excessive piercings particularly attractive. I am of a similar mind with Trevor on this one: Women are best when they are as God made them. When I started dating the woman who is now my wife, she had some self esteem issues, and it took me years to really convince her that she looked better without makeup (she only barely believes it now). She was never into piercings or tattoos, thankfully. I'm not sure if those would have been a deal breaker or not since we fit together so well, but they would have been an issue for me. I wrote a poem once (don't worry--I'm not going to post it here  :tongueout: ) where I compared tattoos on a woman to graffiti on a fine work of art, and I really do feel that way, as unpopular as that attitude might be in society today.

For the record, I don't care much for tattoos and piercings on men, either, but I figure men are generally ugly enough to not be ruined by them  :twirl: .

Yeah. Wearing jewelry fine. Being jewelry...not so much. Too old for that crap.
Like with nose piercings...how does that effect the blowing of the nose? Does it create troubling 'booger jams?'

Yeah it's like graffiti on the Mona Lisa vs. graffiti on the side of a railroad car.

For personal taste, tribal piercings are where I draw the line for what I consider attractive. In general, I don't mind piercings, tattoos, or weird haircuts. It looks interesting to me, and you shouldn't use it as an indicator of personality.

I think they can be attractive (even sexy) if they are done in moderation and they aren't huge or gaudy.

Don't like them. To me, they distract from a woman's beauty, not add to it. Don't care for large tattoos anywhere on a woman either. Something small isn't so bad.
