Meth-Smoking Clown Arrested At Waffle House

MARCH 4--A man dressed as a clown locked himself in the bathroom of a Georgia Waffle House after smoking methamphetamine at the restaurant's counter, according to police who collared the costumed suspect on multiple narcotics charges.

The bizarre 4 AM incident Tuesday ended with the arrest of Jacob Worthington, a 25-year-old Army veteran.

Police were summoned to the Athens eatery by a Waffle House worker who reported that a man wearing a clown suit was smoking methamphetamine inside the business.

After cops removed Worthington from the bathroom, a search of his book bag turned up marijuana, a jar of mushrooms, LSD, a digital scale, rolling papers, and a "smoking bowl" with pot residue.
