Been hearing and seeing them a lot on TV and radio... basically they're like clubs that sell you supposed discounted razors that are good quality but cheaper because they cut out the middle man.  Been thinking of trying one, as I usually use Gilette and they're about $20 for a package of five.   (Yikes!)

Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on them.

Imagine if men waxed their faces....

I once tried Nair in high school.
I had all these uncomfortable holes all over my face for about a week, and the wishers were still there.

Dollar Shave Club is what I use now, and have for the last 3 years or so. The razors in stores were getting insanely high, especially for me, since I use high end ones. I credit Steve Austin's podcast. It made sense so I pulled the trigger on using the DSC method of getting razors delivered to me for like 8 bucks a month. The Gillette or Schick ones with refills will run you at least 12 bucks a pop, the last time I saw, and hell...that was years ago.

I use disposables from a six pack for about two bucks, and put them in a glass of mineral oil between shaves (once a week around the beard) so...cheap. Get about six to eight shaves out of 'em.

I use an electric. Not the closest shave, but easy, and I prefer to wear a little stubble anyway.

I just use a propane torch to burn the hair off.

That's good, but an axe is the only way to go. Just ask this guy:
