... reading classics (I just started DAVID COPPERFIELD)...
DAVID COPPERFIELD was CHARLES DICKENS' own favorite of all of his books.  I think he referred to it as his favorite "child".  I read that twice, though I don't think it's his best...

Real name: Jason Warren

Born: November 2, 1973

Home: Herring Neck, Newfoundland

Hobbies: movies - (I'm most into Sci-Fi, but also Horror, Film Noir, War, Mystery, the classics, biographical, documentaries, etc.), used to be into comics but now I just generally focus on the TV and film adaptations, classic TV especially stuff from the 50s and 60s but also enjoy sci-fi/horror/fantasy/action stuff up to now, love to listen to music from the 80s and 90s in particular, some 70s too, have a big collection of books which I rarely find time to read but when I do I usually get immersed, watching and discussing pro wrestling has become a big hobby too although I honestly prefer wrestling of the 1980s and 1990s, surfing online). Generally I find myself fascinated with the past and can probably get into most anything cult and off the beaten path - definitely have a big fascination with entertainment from the 30s through the 50s. I have a degree in History and English and generally try and keep up with world events. Other than that, I just like hanging out with my girlfriend - watching movies, TV together or taking road trips together.

I do not like the social justice warrior movement, the emasculation of men agenda, and the general dumbing down of society over the years. I find the instant gratification needs of today's society somewhat disturbing as well and how everyone seems to want to be connected all the time bothers me as well. I don't owe a cell phone and still have no desire to own one.

When it comes to movies, I don't like mean spirited stuff like the torture porn horror films, the celebration of stupidity films such as many parody comedies, Jackass, etc. I don't like H.G. Lewis' films for the most part either.

Real Name: Christopher [last name with held]

Born near the end of June  many years ago

(Sorry for being so vague, but I try not to give away the wrong kind of info on the internet )

Currently living in Cleveland with a few years in Akron Oh.

I enjoy taking my sketch book to the zoo to draw animals.  For years I putz around with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, although last year I made the switch to Corel's products (like Painter) and trying to learn Moho studio for animation.  I do art sometimes in my spare time and tried to be a professional one at some point, but lately I'm really reconsidering my options and path.

I've been fencing for about a decade now.  My weapon of choice is Foil, but at some point I'd like to try Epee or Sabre.   My highest rating is D.

Comic book fan. My favorite character is Kyle Rayner the Green Lantern who took up the mantle after Hal Jordan went crazy.  Mostly DC.

Favorite type of movie is creature features.  Anything with a cool monster in it.   I love Harryhausen movies, Godzilla, dinosaur films etc.

And if you want to know what I sound like:

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I read it many years ago (or at least most of it . . . I don't think I ever finished it).
